9/22/2017There will be intermittent street and sidewalk closures on Michigan Street between Pine Grove Park Drive and Lincoln Avenue through mid-November because of the demolition of the Pine Grove Park Scenic Overlook.

8/16/2017The City of Port Huron Department of Public Works will be working at the Stone Street Pump Station beginning Wednesday, August 16, 2017. As a result, Stone Street will be closed in both directions between Garfield Street and Sanborn Street for three weeks. Please follow posted detour.

7/21/2017Beginning Monday, July 24, 2017 construction on Lakeview at Gratiot Avenue will begin, and the southbound lane of traffic at the intersection of Lakeview and Gratiot will be closed.  The City anticipates the closure to last approximately 6 weeks.  A detour will be posted utilizing Holland Avenue, Stone Street and Garfield Street.

6/28/2017The City of Port Huron will mail the 2017 summer tax bills on Thursday, June 29, 2017. The summer taxes may be paid without penalty on or before July 31, 2017.

5/15/2017Beginning Monday, May 15, 2017, the City of Port Huron will begin making improvements on River Street east and west of Stone Street and on Stone Street just north of River Street.  These streets should be opened to traffic by the end of June.

The City of Port Huron was recognized by the nonprofit Arbor Day Foundation as a Tree City USA community for its commitment to urban forestry. This is the twentieth consecutive year that Port Huron has received this national recognition.

Artificial flowers wreaths and other decorations are prohibited in Lakeside Cemetery and Veterans Memorial Cemetery between April 1 and November 15.  As a reminder, only patriotic flags and flowers are permitted on grave sites.
