Treasurer's Office

The Treasurer's Office is the area of the Finance Department which is responsible for the collection of all monies due the City. The City Treasurer is also responsible for the preparation of all real and personal property tax bills, the depositing of all monies received in the appropriate depository accounts and the accurate reporting of all collections.

Summer property taxes are levied as of July 1 and are due as of July 31.  Winter property taxes are levied as of December 1 and are due as of February 15.  After the due dates, penalties and interest begin to apply. 

The Treasurer also supervises The Utility Billing Division (Water Office).

St. Clair County dog licenses are also available from the Treasurer's Office during the months of December through February.
