Marina Division
The Marina Division is responsible for the leasing, seasonal operation and maintenance of all City owned marina facilities at the following locations:
Hours of operation between May 1st and October 15th are:
- River Street Marina 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.
- Water Street Marina 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
The Marina Division also plays an important role during the Mackinac Sailboat Race held each July. Temporary mooring facilities must be created for race participants and services maintained for seasonal guests. More than 200 additional watercraft vehicles are accommodated during this week-long event.

The City has 5 docking facilities with a total capacity of 520 slips.
Water Street Marina
The Water Street Marina is located on Water St. close to I-94 ramp,
with 374 slips. Dockside facilities are Ice, Laundromat, Restrooms,
Showers and Public Telephone. For the 2008 boating season, this marina has
available 120 forty foot seasonal slips with Electricity and Water.
The Water Street Marina also has available 254 thirty and thirty-four
slips without water or electricity. These slips are offered at 50% of the
standard rate for seasonal and transient use. These slips are ideal for
the trailering boat owner.

(downstream) is closed for the 2008 boating season due to shoaling. See chart below for daily rates*.
The chart assumes full utilities. Reduce the chart rate by 50% for slips
without water and electricity for boats 18' - 34' in length.
River Street Marina
River Street Marina is located on River St. at the end of Stone St, with 95 slips. Dockside facilities are Electricity, Water, Ice, Restrooms, Showers and Public Telephone.
