The Personnel Department has an "open door" policy which allows employees and their families to contact them at anytime to discuss benefits and/or concerns. There are seven unions representing various segments of our work force, as well as, a large contingent of non-unionized employees. Employees are updated on various city and non-city related issues by the use of "Employee Update" boards strategically placed at various city facilities.
