FEMA Flood Maps are Changing
The Flood Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) is changing the flood maps for the Great Lakes which will affect properties within the City of Port Huron. If you own property on Lake Huron or the St. Clair River north of the Blue Water Bridges, this may affect you. It will also affect the properties on the west side of Conger Street, between Ballentine & Lakeview, and properties on the west side of Wright Street, between Church & Elmwood.
FEMA has indicated that there are no changes to the flood maps along the following waterways:
1. St. Clair River south of the Blue Water Bridge
2. Black River
3. Canals (minor change to Black River Canal)
FEMA will host a meeting on November 13, to assist property owners.
WHEN: Wednesday, November 13, 2019, from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.

The following maps are in the City of Port Huron: 26147C0237E, 26147C0239E, 26147C0243E, & 26147C0356E. The map number is the “FIRM Item ID”. Click on “view pdf” to see the map.
